LILAC Awards 2012 – Now Open for Nominations!

The Librarians' Information Literacy Annual Conference (LILAC) is delighted to announce the call for nominations for our 3 prestigious awards for 2012

The Librarians' Information Literacy Annual Conference (LILAC) is delighted to announce the call for nominations for our 3 prestigious awards for 2012:

Information Literacy Practitioner of the Year.
This long established award (sponsored by the CILIP CSG IL Group) recognises an outstanding individual contribution to information literacy.  The winner will receive £500 for personal use and £500 for their nominated charity.  Closing date: February 29th 2012.

Credo Reference Digital Award for Information Literacy. 
An exciting new award recognising a digital resource, programme, product or service which has made a significant impact.  The winning group or individual will receive £500 for personal use and £500 for their nominated charity. Closing date: February 29th 2012.

Student Award: Sponsored Place at LILAC.
The award (sponsored by the CILIP CSG IL Group) consists of conference registration, travel and accommodation expenses for a student registered on a UK study programme in information / library studies. Closing date: January 31st 2012.

LILAC 2012 will be held in the fabulous city of Glasgow,11th-13th April 2012. The awards will be presented at the conference dinner at the Old Fruit Market on Thursday April 12th.
